I have interrupted my work on Tesla to produce a rapid Rocky Thoughts for a Rocky Road article focused on MP Materials announcement yesterday. This looks a material event in the rare earth space in our view, as MP Materials decides to merge with Fortress Value Acquisition and list on NYSE. So here you are: “Mountain Pass rises from the ashes again for good?”
While timing for the announcement and the listing look perfect and the equity narrative attractive, there are still few areas of doubts… In any case Lynas looks cheaper to us.
